Portrait by Charlotte de Mesnard
Photography helps me slow down, observe, and tell the stories we often overlook. I’ve always been fascinated by the invisible threads that connect people, by quiet emotions, and by everyday stories that deserve to be told.
My name is Laurène, I’m 29 years old, and after several years quietly exploring photography on my own, I finally decided to follow the spark that had been glowing inside me for a long time. I wanted to give it the space it deserved — to turn this passion into a profession.
The shift happened naturally after an extraordinary year abroad, in South Korea, where I had the chance to slow down, reconnect with myself, and gain clarity about what truly moved me and what I wanted to share. I refined my eye through street photography, varied landscapes, candid portraits, and everyday scenes. Looking back at all those images — different in form, but connected in spirit — I realized what truly drives me: telling stories. As a child, I did it with words. Today, it’s with a camera that I try to capture life, people, their bonds, the places they inhabit — and to let those quiet moments speak.

Now, I’m fully dedicated to portrait photography, my first love, with a sensitive and intimate approach that highlights your story as if it were a little documentary of a fleeting, precious moment. What matters to me is creating a space where you can truly be yourself. Whether you come as a family, a couple, alone, or awaiting a new life, I’ll be there with simplicity and care — looking to capture what connects you and what makes you unique.
I work with natural light, at your home or outdoors, in places that feel like you. I love photographing real moments, gentle gestures, spontaneous laughter, and meaningful silences. I want my images to be tender traces of what you’ve experienced — memories to feel as much as to see.
So… shall we meet ?
